SOAP MAKING
Training is one-way Umala Mission offers youth the skills to enable them to begin a business or gain employment.
We offer Soap Training every year in January.
Sixteen young men and women participated in the January 2022 class.
The first class was held in January 2021, with eighteen participants.
JOB OPPORTUNITIES
Many youths are unemployed due to limited opportunities coupled with a lack of skills.
Teaching practical skills will enable them to create job opportunities for themselves and be ready for the competitive job market.
WHAT WAS LEARNED
Customer Service
-Handle customers with good manners.
-Use nice and pleasant words when communicating.
-Listening to them shows that one cares
-Call them to find out how much they appreciate your service.
-Accepting back the product a customer feels were not good enough and replacing them.
-Offering good after-sales service
-Home delivery of purchased goods

- A PIECE OF CLOTH
MAKING PROCEDURE /STEPS
- Put the salt in the basin.
- Mix with ungarol; stir.
- Put the ufacid; stir.
- Put the UPP; stir.
- Put the CPPU; stir.
- Pour water /add water slowly until you get the right consistency.
- Leave to settle for one hour.

CONCLUSION
Lack of necessary skills makes youth unproductive.
Some participants, after this forum, have been awakened.
One, in particular, became innovative and came up with a battery-powered soap-making device for demonstration purposes.
