Do you think God is calling you to full-time ministry?
Sometimes we hear the call but are not sure whether it is our imagination or God.
One way you can test the waters is to go on a short-term mission trip.
Visit the small Umala Village and participate in their projects to see if this is what you want to do on a long-term basis.
There are some things you need to do before you venture out to Africa
1. Get your orientation
We offer orientation training online as well as offline.
Get in touch if you are interested.
2. Learn basic Swahili
Make sure you can communicate in Swahili. You need to know some simple words so you can have a conversation with the villagers.
Let our experienced trainer teach you Swahili over Skype and via email.
3. Get your Vaccinations
You want to make sure you have all the vaccinations needed before you travel.
4. Get Travelers Insurance
There are several missionary organizations offering insurance.
We will write a detailed article about them soon.
Once you visit Umala for two weeks, you will know whether you want to become a full-time missionary or not.
